Cookie policy
The public site sets no cookies at all: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. This page lists the little we do store and why.

Cookies
Reading, searching and browsing Olfaria sets no cookies. The only cookie we use is studio_session, a strictly necessary sign-in cookie for our own editors on the editorial dashboard. Visitors never receive it.
Preferences stored in your browser
A few choices are remembered in your browser's local storage so the site behaves the way you left it. They stay on your device, are never sent to us and contain no personal data beyond what you typed:
- clone-view: whether you last used the table, grid or list view of the clone finder.
- atelier-comment-name: the display name you used for a Journal comment, so you do not have to type it again.
Because these are strictly functional and stay on your device, they do not need consent.
Third parties
Fonts and images are served from our own server, so loading a page does not contact anyone else. Shop links take you to retailers, who set their own cookies under their own policies once you are on their site. If we add advertising to the Journal in future, we will list those cookies here and ask for consent first where required.
Clearing them
You can delete cookies and local storage for olfaria.com at any time in your browser settings; the site keeps working and simply forgets your preferences. For anything else about your data, see the privacy policy.
