About
Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo founded Xerjoff in Turin in 2007. Momo, previously a painter and designer, had studied perfumery in Grasse two years earlier, and the brand name comes from a family nickname, Joff, later extended to Sir Joff by English colleagues. In 2009 the company acquired Casamorati, a Bologna perfume house dating from 1888, and relaunched it with its original bottles and logo. London has become an important market, and the house has made collaborations with musicians including Brian May, Tony Iommi and Duran Duran, as well as yearly scents tied to the ATP Finals in Turin.
