About
Kilian Hennessy started his house, originally called By Kilian, in Paris in 2007. His family connection to Hennessy shows in the brand's taste for spirits-inspired scents, most clearly in a collection devoted to fine liquors whose bottles recall whisky glasses. The Estée Lauder Companies acquired the business in February 2016 for undisclosed terms, and Hennessy stayed on as founder and creative lead. The house later shortened its name to Kilian Paris and organises its range into themed families, from boozy gourmands to dark, smoky compositions.
