About

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana founded their label in 1985 and built a style around Sicilian culture, black lace and sharp tailoring. Fragrance spent decades under licence, most recently with Shiseido from 2016. After that agreement ended in 2021, the company set up Dolce&Gabbana Beauty in 2022 and took over development, production and distribution itself, an unusual step for a fashion house of its size. Light Blue, with its Mediterranean summer imagery, and The One remain the core of the business, alongside the Velvet Collection.
